Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a developer and commercial investor, so I quite literally grew up on job sites - learning every phase of construction from concrete and framing to plumbing and electrical. That early, hands-on exposure gave me a deep respect for the craftsmanship behind every building and a clear understanding of what truly creates value in real estate.

Although I initially pursued a path toward medicine in college, the 2008 financial crisis shifted my perspective. I felt called to real estate at a time when many were stepping away. Taking a leap of faith, I started from the ground up and built my business brick by brick. It was a risk, but one that shaped the foundation of a career I'm incredibly proud of today.

My experience spans income-producing rental portfolios, fix-and-flip projects, distressed assets, and luxury homes. As an active investor myself, I bring practical, real-world insight to every client relationship - helping buyers, sellers, and investors make confident, strategic decisions.

My personal portfolio includes 32 residential doors, two shopping plazas, and an office building. This firsthand experience allows me to advise clients not just as an agent, but as someone who actively navigates the opportunities and challenges of both residential and commercial investing.

I hold both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University, where I also played collegiate hockey - an experience that instilled discipline, resilience, and a competitive drive that continues to fuel my business today.

Beyond Real Estate |
Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my two young children, James Jr. and Kendra Rose. Whether we're at home, at our lake house boating and fishing, or tubing - family time is what keeps everything in perspective.

I remain active in the local hockey community and strongly believe in maintaining an active lifestyle. And while it may sound cliché, real estate investing is truly one of my passions. I genuinely enjoy transforming neglected properties into beautiful homes and contributing to the improvement of neighborhoods, one property at a time.
